THE SINSO - Integrated Welding Solutions allows the use of weld deposit repair, performed externally to the component, to prevent failure due to corrosion processes (FAC – flow-accelerated corrosion) and/or corrosion/erosion on the internal surface of the material. This solution does not include the repair of cracked components. Under certain conditions, repair with weld deposit in the region subject to thickness reduction may be sufficient to structurally reinforce the component and eliminate the need for replacement or other type of repair.
